The Lincoln Heritage Museum, in cooperation with the Abraham Lincoln Center for Character Development have developed brochures available in the Legacy Gallery, which highlight the character traits of Abraham Lincoln: honesty, empathy, leadership, vision, perseverance, and intellect.
Each of these brochures provide stories on Abraham Lincoln’s character development and how he exhibited character. Each brochure also implores the reader to examine his or her own life to challenge how that character could be better revealed and shown to those around us. For information on these brochures or to obtain a copy, contact the Abraham Lincoln Center for Character Development or the Lincoln Heritage Museum.

The Abraham Lincoln Center for Character Development has undertaken a character library. It consists of books, pamphlets, and articles on Abraham Lincoln and character. The materials cannot be removed from the collection, but the public is invited to use these resources.

Please call the Center and make arrangements prior to a visit.
